Youth Off The Streets invites you to help make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people by joining us on an incredible journey.

The Youth Off The Streets Community Service Challenge is designed so that supporters can make a difference whilst exploring some of the most incredible places on earth. Presented in partnership with World Expeditions, the Youth Off The Streets Community Service Challenge combines a challenge of fundraising with an amazing opportunity to undertake community work with like-minded Youth Off The Streets supporters at an orphanage we support in the remote village of Baguia in Timor Leste! (It won't all be hard work though! We'll also throw in the opportunity for you to have fun, experience the beauty of Timor Leste and to relax while staying at an Eco Village resort!)

Youth Off The Streets and World Expeditions will provide assistance with fundraising ideas and physical training programmes to ensure every part of your challenge is a great success. 2. Send us your completed registration form and fee
3. Get started on raising the minimum sponsorship amount and physical training! We will be on hand to help you with fundraising ideas and training programmes to ensure your challenge is a great success.

How do I fundraise?

Once you have signed up for the Timor Leste Challenge, Youth Off The Streets will provide you with an Information Pack which will include a fundraising guide. This guide includes lots of hints and tips to help you meet and even exceed your fundraising target.

Youth Off The Streets have had years of experience in helping fundraisers achieve their fundraising goal. Some fundraisers like to hold a single event to raise the minimum amount, while others prefer to hold a series of smaller initiatives that are specifically targeted to raise money through their networks. The main thing to keep in mind, is making the experience fun for all involved. By choosing fundraising activities your networks enjoy, you will be surprised at how easy it can be to reach the target.

The case study below shows how easy it can be to raise $5,000 in sponsorship:

• Car washing $300
• Raffle $400
• Golf Day = $500
• Mufti day at school or work $600
• Film night at local cinema $700
• Trivia night $1500
• BBQ or dinner with small entry fee $1000
