Help us get youth off the streets

According to the Australian Institute for Health and Welfare, in the period 2005 - 2006, there were 68,000 homeless youth in Australia under the age of 17.

The money you raise by participating in one of our trekking challenges will go towards improving the lives of Australia’s most marginalised youth.

How do I fundraise?

Once you have signed up for a trek, Youth Off The Streets will provide you with an Information Pack which will include a fundraising guide. This guide includes lots of hints and tips to help you meet and even exceed your fundraising target.

Youth Off The Streets have had years of experience in helping fundraisers achieve their fundraising goal. Some fundraisers like to hold a single event to raise the minimum amount, while others prefer to hold a series of smaller initiatives that are specifically targeted to raise money through their networks. The main thing to keep in mind, is making the experience fun for all involved. By choosing fundraising activities your networks enjoy, you will be surprised at how easy it can be to reach the target.

The case study below shows how easy it can be to raise $5,000 in sponsorship:

  • Car washing $300
  • Raffle $400
  • Golf Day = $500
  • Mufti day at school or work $600
  • Film night at local cinema $700
  • Trivia night $1500
  • BBQ or dinner with small entry fee $1000
