It supports YOTS by providing financial support, hosting special events on their premises, and contributing to the direct development of YOTS young people by offering work experience and traineeships within the retail and horticultural industries. |

Australia
Pepsico Australia has joined forces with YOTS in an
exciting partnership to provide an alternative education
program for young people who have been excluded from
the mainstream school system but want to learn skills
and gain an education. The alternative learning centre
supports young people in Macquarie Fields and Airds,
two suburbs in South West Sydney. The centre will combine
traditional education such as Maths and English, with
vocational skills, personal development and mentoring.

Youth Off The Streets is part
of a collaborative partnership with Vodafone Australia
Foundation, Mission Australia and Barnardos to provide
an initiative called Young People Connected using mobile
phone technology to reduce the isolation and marginalisation

For several years, the Property Industry Foundation
has supported Youth Off The Streets with a range of
building projects. They have generously provided our
organisation with an 11 bedroom house in Canyonleigh
and two 10 bedroom houses at Sutton Forest to house

Foundation also converted a convent in Merrylands into
a new Head Office and funded the Youth Off The Streets
“Cattle Drive” in 1998. |

In a very special relationship, the Rio Tinto Aboriginal
Fund supports Youth Off The Streets’ Aboriginal
Services (YOTSAS) by sponsoring our
Cultural Wellbeing Camps. Specifically

people in our services,
the camps address a variety of issues, including culture,
language, identity, belonging, reconnection, healing,
visual and performing arts, sports and recreation, and
service learning. |

Sydney Airport generously supports Don Bosco House in
Marrickville, NSW. Don Bosco House provides crisis and
short term accommodation for young homeless people between
the ages of 15-18. The refuge provides young people
with a safe and supportive environment. |

The Tenix Foundation supports McIntosh House and its
Life Skills program, which brings together positive
adult role models from the business and wider community
with the young residents to share their knowledge and
experience to help them make the transition into employment
