Donor Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a Donor Relations Coordinator to ensure the continued success of the services we provide to our young people through your ability to coordinate and leverage philanthropic contributions.

You will drive donor satisfaction, retention, and growth from your existing/established networks and your knowledge of developing trends in philanthropy across personal and institutional high net worth relationships

You will ensure donor satisfaction, quality and timeliness of bequest/client relationship management and have significant experience managing a fundraising function in previous NGO/professional capacity.

You will be primarily responsible for developing a strategic plan for creating and/or expanding diversified revenue streams from donors, then identify opportunities, prospective individuals and other donors, and implement targeted strategies for each opportunity ·

You’re a highly strategic and dynamic individual, a sophisticated communicator who is able to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and have a proven track record of meeting fundraising goals.  A proven innovator, motivated by the opportunity to be part of a constantly changing organization, able to set strategic priorities, and identify new development opportunities.

You will need a minimum of 5 years experience supported by relevant qualifications,

This is a new role! It will require you to set up systems, practices, databases, build reports as well as manage the administration.

Ideally you have familiarity with issues impacting disadvantaged Youth.

Evaluation Coordinator – Mascot

Do you have experience in report writing and analysis?  Are you experienced in data collection and data analysis?

Youth Off The Streets aims to make a difference to the lives of young people in our care and in the community. We measure our successes by evaluating and reporting on our services.

You will be providing an essential role in supporting our Managers to ensure that appropriate data is collected for Funding Agreements, as well as training staff and monitoring the progress of milestones and Key Performance Indicators for multiple programs. You will also assist the Research & Evaluation Manager with research as required.

You will have :

  • Minimum 2 years in writing, editing, proofing and formatting
  • Experience in data collection, data analysis and data sets
  • Experience in all Microsoft programs
  • Experience in NGO SECTOR
  • Excellent communication skills

Mentor Facilitator

  • Located at Merrylands \Full-time (38 hour week, including some week-end and after hours work)
  • Fixed Term Contract Role March to September 2010

Our Mentoring Program matches trained and screened volunteers with our young people to provide support and assist them to move in a positive direction our Facilitator supports the program by working with the mentors and young people on a daily basis.

You will need to have a high level of interpersonal, communication and time management skills, experience in the youth sector and an understanding of volunteerism. The capacity to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds is critical.

Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social, Youth, or a related discipline, or substantial experience in this field.
  • A demonstrated understanding of mentoring theory and practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of Child Protection legislation
  • Experience in presenting to groups
  • Demonstrated understanding of child development and adolescent issues
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Current NSW driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel within NSW and work flexible hours

Operations Coordinator

This is a challenging, yet highly rewarding position that demands a tenacious, diligent individual who can demonstrate the ability to work in a pressurised and unpredictable environment often to tight deadlines.  

You will report to the Operations, Facilities and Infrastructure Manager and have responsibility for overseeing all R&M, fleet, premises security and other related services, from refurbish to construction projects on houses, schools and offices. 

The role will see you actively involved in other areas of the business, predominantly working closely with the Volunteer Manager, supervising suitably skilled volunteers for R&M works and the Corporate Partnerships Team assisting in scheduled Corporate Volunteer Days at various YOTS sites

You will be given autonomy and you will be the main contact for all subcontractors and service providers. As you learn the business and its services you can then move into small to medium capital construction projects.

In this role you will
Direct and manage contractors and consultants and support them to deliver, ensuring agreements and compliance with contractual terms, including budgeted, legal and OHS outcomes.

Deal competently with complex working environments and child protection procedures
Travel within NSW and interstate as required

You will be

  • Focused on Customer Service.
  • Be trade qualified  and “Hands On” should the situation call for your expertise.
  • Able to Multi Task & Problem Solve.
  • Experienced in the Project Management process.
  • Flexible, able to work on Multiple sites throughout NSW
  • Self starting and team orientated
  • Risk & Compliance experienced
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organisation capabilities
  • You will have the ability to build and develop relationships at all levels whilst managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Good understanding of government legislations, building regulations, standards and codes of practice
  • Experience with NGO and or the Charity sector is desirable
  • You will be absolutely fanatical about OH&S and your paper work and administration will be second to none.
