  2004 Winning Ad Production

Youth Off The Streets teamed up with Metroscreen (part of the Sydney Film Centre) and students from Cabramatta High School for the production of the 2004 winning GetReel entries.

Metroscreen’s youth program ‘Channel Free’, gives young people the opportunity for training and experience in the film, television and media industry. Their experience in producing youth focused advertisements with the right look and feel to appeal to the 10-16 year old target audience was essential to the final great result!

Students from Cabramatta High School volunteered their time as actors for the day, and the advertisements were shot at two different locations in Sydney. Below are pictures of the filming in action!!

Youth Off The Streets thank P.J. and Craig from Metroscreen and George and all the students from Cabramatta High School for their involvement.

The 2004 Community Service Announcements were screened on Network 10, 9 Network and the Seven Network during National Drug Action Week 2005 (20th –24th June).

2004 finalist – Middle School Division (Crash)

N.B. A winning entry was selected in both the Middle and Secondary School divisions in 2004. Unfortunately, due to copyright permissions we were unable to produce the winning middle school entry by Allenstown State School, therefore the runner up entry was produced in its place.
