MARATHON
OUTBACK TREK ACROSS AUSTRALIA FINISHES!
A no doubt very worn & weary Heidi Douglas has just completed her trek across Australia on horseback. Beginning over 18 months ago, Heidi has wandered into the towns, paddocks, farms and stations of hundreds of country folk, who have all been very generous in helping Heidi raise thousands for Youth Off The Streets. The trek has been a challenging one, with Heidi having to halt her trip and return home on a few occasions due to the ill health and passing of some of her much loved animal travelling companions. The challenges Heidi faced were often gruelling and thankless, yet she persevered under often difficult circumstances to finish what she began. A great lesson in strength over adversity.
Father Chris Riley and all the staff and young people at Youth Off The Streets extend their deepest thanks to Heidi for her tireless efforts. Well Done!

"MATES
ON A MISSION" ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL
7 years ago, a group of mates have gathered for a traditional Christmas Eve round of golf at Liverpool, however none of them realized just how big the day would get, or that they would go on to make such a huge difference for disadvantaged young people. Last year, these mates decided that they would like to raise some money for a charity and approached Youth Off The Streets with the idea that they could raise money to buy Christmas presents for disadvantaged kids. Since then, these amazing men have raised almost $25,000 for Youth Off The Streets, and they are already planning another sold out event for 2009! With a little help from West Tigers NRL star Robbie Farah and some of his team mates, this event has become a way for an everyday group of “Tradies” to give something back to the community and create a wonderful spirit at Christmas.
On behalf of Father Chris Riley, we extend our deepest thanks to Steve, George, Charlie & Robbie, and all of the Sponsors for bringing a smile to our young people at Christmas.

Hip Pop Art Exhibition
United Galleries is hosting the 2nd Annual “Hip Pop” art exhibition in
Darlinghurst from November 28th. A variety of works are produced by
talented young artists in various media forms and are available for purchase.
A percentage of the sales of artworks will be donated to Youth Off The Streets
to support the Key College education program.
Young students from Key College will be producing a work in conjunction with
Hip Pop artist Jane Fontane that will be on display in this exhibition. We
encourage all art lovers and YOTS supporters to attend this excellent art exhibition.
Opening Night Invitation requires an RSVP to United Galleries on PH (02) 8915 5300.
The Opening Night will commence from 6pm to 8pm on Friday November 28th.
